2)Hyunjeong and Leona didn’t like running around because it was tiring and the difficult problems held us behind.
3)There should be fun tasks to do like putting as many gummybears in our mouth as possible.
4)QR codes were fun to scan, but when it’s multiple choice people see what you’re scanning and they copy you.

  2. I loved the scavenger hunt overall. I loved how all the clues were not completely straightforward. Some of the prompted us to think logically and not just memorize formulas. I did not like the part about the QR code in this scavenger hunt because it was unbelievably unreliable. We wasted a lot of time experimenting through different scanners because we were not able to scan the QR codes, which meant we had less time to do the actually math part. As Leona as said, there could have been more fun tasks and more practical ones maybe, such telling the teacher one way implement a certain knowledge in real life. I also would change a couple things such as trying to use some other resource than QR code. Also, less running please. As mentioned before, the QR code was very unreliable. That made the QR code part more like a load than a helping hand.

  3. Answer each of the following questions in complete sentences:
What was your favorite part of the Scavenger Hunt? (You can have more than one favorite.)
My favorite part of the Scavenger hunt was thinking about places in the school that the clues led to. For example, the picture of the packman was the PAC. That was hard to figure out but we figured it out. Also, going around the school was good exercise. The scavenger hunt overall was sort of intriguing because if we went to the wrong class then the teachers made us dance which was better than just going around places and solving problems and being stressed when we’re wrong or somethinggg

What was your least favorite part? (Again, more than one least favorite is acceptable.)
My least favorite part was when we scanned things and people copied us without scanning. Also, it was really frustrating when we got stuck on a problem or like where to go. It was really embarrassing when we went to a wrong clue and a video that said wrong wrong wrong wrong. I hope we weren’t the only ones :3

What would you change about the Scavenger Hunt to make it better? (Additions, Omissions, etc.)
One of the teachers that we accidentally went to said that she threw away the clue because she thought the scavenger hunt was only for A block so we were like um.... xD but anyways the clue wasn’t there :) So maybe there should be like extra clues just in case....??? :)

Did you think the QR Codes made the hunt more fun than it would have been without them?  Why or why not?
I think the QR Codes made the hunt more fun that it would have been without them because some of the groups covered the QR Code so that we couldn’t scan them but still it was part of the competition which was exciting :)

So overall I really liked the scavenger hunt and I think it was good review for the final!

    1) What was your favorite part of the Scavenger Hunt? (You can have more than one favorite.)
My favorite part of the Scavenger Hunt was that I covered all the topics that are coming out in the test in a very fun way. It would have been really boring if we sat down and did few pages of worksheets, which is extremely morning. By making students to explore around the school, it makes other students who are sometimes left out during the class work to all try their best and collaborate with others.
    2) What was your least favorite part? (Again, more than one least favorite is acceptable.)
My least favorite part was that there was no clear instructions. When we first started, we got a picture that was written "guidance in the middle". My partner and I had try hard hard time to find out, how this activity is going. In the beginning of the game, we thought we were doing wrong because we didn't know what was going on during the game and almost gave up the game. Fortunately, we just understood as the time passed by and tried our best to complete our missions. Even though, we learned as we played this game, I didn't like the unclear instructions.

    3) What would you change about the Scavenger Hunt to make it better? (Additions, Omissions, etc.)
I would make the Scavenger Hunt easier and severely increase the questions, which might be more helpful to the students who are studying for their finals. Even though this hunt was really fun, there were only few amounts of questions because this activity was very hard and difficult. and hard to find QR codes through hints. Also I wish teachers make easier hint because my partner and I spent long time try to solve the hints.

    4)  Did you think the QR Codes made the hunt more fun than it would have been without them?  Why or why not?

I personally think the QR codes made the hunt more fun because it seems really like a movie. When I completed the first question, I felt it was like what Tom Cruise do in the Mission Impossible Movie Series. It looked really cool and I felt some kind of excitement when there was a sound when we scanned the barcode. I felt really excited and I personally agree that QR codes made the hunt more fun.

I personally really liked QR Code Scavenger Hunt and want to do it next year too!!!!! Also it was a great help too!

  5. 1) I think my favorite part of the Scavenger Hunt was the multiple questions. Even though Selena and I got the wrong answer and we went down to the swimming pool, I think the "wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong!" song was funny.
    2) Selena and I had to dance Gangnam Style in Mr. Patrick's 7th grade classroom. T^T It was very embarrassing, but I guess it was a good entertainment for the class, since it was extremely funny when people came to dance in our choir class in D block. (Even though no one really danced as well and Selena and I!!)
    3) I think this was the best Scavenger hunt that I've ever had. I guess the hunt was sort of long so we finished a little after the bell rung. Maybe next time, the scavenger hunt can be a question less.
    4) The QR codes were hilarious, especially the Gangnam Style one and the "wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong!" one. But it was inconvenient in some cases where we had to listen to explaining videos because we had to increase the volume to hear, but couldn't increase the volume because of the surroundings.

Overall, it was the BEST SCAVENGER HUNT!!!!

  6. 1) I loved the Scavenger Hunt overall. However, I think that solving the mysteries in the QR Codes (where to go next) were entertaining. In addition, I liked how we could cover all the topics we learned in a game. The idea of the Scavenger Hunt is really interesting, and everyone was excited to do it.

    2) My least favorite part is that we had to go up and down the stairs. It was more tiring than I thought, and at the beginning it affected our distance between our team and other teams. Also, other teams could track where we were going or what we were doing according to our movements.

    3) Although I think that the Scavenger Hunt is perfect and fun for students, I think I would reduce the number of questions we had to solve. I saw some people coming to Mr. Jobe’s class after the bell rung.

    4) I think the QR Codes made the hunt more fun because we were able to use technology while solving math problems - two good things at once! Also, it was really funny when the QR codes would lead to a video singing “wrong wrong wrong wrong,” or when it made us go to Ms. Jenkin’s room to dance.

  8. Answer each of the following questions in complete sentences:
    1) What was your favorite part of the Scavenger Hunt? (You can have more than one favorite.)
My favorite part of the Scavenger Hunt was the fact that the Scavenger Hunt helped us review for the final because it covered all of the topics we learned in the whole year. The Scavenger Hunt also helped me review for the final because I had to solve the questions correctly and quickly in order to get to the next stage, which will be necessary for the final. Another part that was my favorite was how if we got the question wrong, we would be sent to the textbook room with the youtube video, saying wrong wrong wrong wrong!
    2) What was your least favorite part? (Again, more than one least favorite is acceptable.)
My least favorite part was the difficult and sometimes ambiguous clues, for example the first problem was the guidance poster, which would be impossible to find unless we have been in Mr Healey's office before.
    3) What would you change about the Scavenger Hunt to make it better? (Additions, Omissions, etc.)
I think that if we made the clues written clues to the location instead of picture clues it would have been better. If the clues to the next destination had been words instead of pictures it would have been much easier to understand.
    4) Did you think the QR Codes made the hunt more fun than it would have been without them? Why or why not?
I think QR codes made the hunt much more fun than they would have been without them because the Qr codes prevented us from just cheating by reading the next clue and we had to scan it.

  9. 1) I liked the way how we had to move around a lot, it kept me away from falling asleep. My favorite part of this scavenger hunt was the way how we had to look for where the next clue would be.

    2) My least favorite part during this scavenger hunt was that my QR code scanner didn’t work well.

    3) Maybe we could lessen one question? Because it also seems like other people finished right when the bell rang.

    4) Yes, I think I think the QR codes made it interesting. Although mine didn’t work well, I think it was better to have the QR codes because just plainly reading the questions would have been boring(?).

  10. Answer each of the following questions in complete sentences:
    1) What was your favorite part of the Scavenger Hunt? (You can have more than one favorite.)
My favorite part of the scavenger hunt was that it is really fun when we work with our partner to solve the problems and following directions as if they are missions.
    2) What was your least favorite part? (Again, more than one least favorite is acceptable.)
My least favourite part was that is I made a mistake, in some classes, we had to dance gangnamstyle.
    3) What would you change about the Scavenger Hunt to make it better? (Additions, Omissions, etc.)
If I could change the hunt, then I would make the distance between the classes closer because I was sweating so much by walking up and down the stairs.
    4) Did you think the QR Codes made the hunt more fun than it would have been without them? Why or why not?
I don't like the QR code because in some places, the internet didn't work, so we wasted some time during the hunt. The group behind us almost caught up to us because the internet didn't work well.

  11. 1) What was your favorite part of the Scavenger Hunt? (You can have more than one favorite.)
My favorite part was that I was moving way more, (keep active)! and getting to work with my friends.
    2) What was your least favorite part? (Again, more than one least favorite is acceptable.)
My least favorite part was when I go the videos that said, WRONG WRONG WRONG!
    3) What would you change about the Scavenger Hunt to make it better? (Additions, Omissions, etc.)
There should have been more variety of problems and much more of them!
    4) Did you think the QR Codes made the hunt more fun than it would have been without them? Why or why not?
I think that it was better because without them, there would be too much work that the teachers have to do!

    It was really fun! (:

  12. 1) My favorite part of the scavenger hunt was solving the clues (Pac Man!) while going around the school and the feeling of accomplishment when going to the correct places (instead of hearing the “no, no, no, no.. no, no, no, no..” song)
    2) I didn’t really have a least favorite part of the Scavenger Hunt because I thought it was really fun in general, but I think it would have been more fun if we had more ways to interact and compete with other teams.
    3) I think the scavenger hunt was good as it is, but as I mentioned in response #2, it could have been a little more fun if it wasn’t really an independent mission (between two friends), but if it was more of a team mission involving more people.
    4) I think the QR Code part of the scavenger hunt definitely made the scavenger hunt more fun because it added a new technical aspect to an already fun activity

  13. 1.) My favorite part of the scavenger hunt was the parts where we had to find out the locations of the qr codes. Starting from the first picture, Jin Mo and I had run into a wall, because we had no idea where the pictures were..... (For the pacman one, we went to the tech ed.... not the PAC.)
2.) I DON"T HAVE ANY! SO FUUUN! But.... I ran around so much, that I was pooped out! The other part that i kind of didn't like and was funny, was when we got things wrong, a person would go like wrongwrongwrongwrong.... Hahahahha!
3.)Maybe it could have been better like I said, if we didn't need to run around so much... It felt like math + PE class! Still, it was fun. It was active, so it was really fun.
4.) The QR code part of the scavenger hunt was awesome. THe part that we had to find them around this huge school campus was really fun too. How we had to mix tech with math was a really good idea Mr. Jobe.

  14. 1) What was your favorite part of the Scavenger Hunt? (You can have more than one favorite.)
I really loved it when we had to run around the school, and figure out what the clue meant. For example, the picture of a bandage meant nurse office. I just liked the overall idea of scavenger hunt, and because I worked with a partner I liked it was more fun.

    2) What was your least favorite part? (Again, more than one least favorite is acceptable.)
My least favorite part was when we had to separate and solve by our own, because we weren't even allowed to help or look at our partner solving. That gives a lot of pressure, but however it makes us individually trained(?) and it was still a good idea.

    3) What would you change about the Scavenger Hunt to make it better? (Additions, Omissions, etc.)
I noticed one problem, and it is all of us going to the same place. If we all goto the same place, most people have the same pace solving math problems and we end up following other people. It was very messy too, everybody trying to scan the QR code and we know the answer by looking at other people scanning. It would be better if we had choices of places to goto, and everybody going to different directions.

    4) Did you think the QR Codes made the hunt more fun than it would have been without them? Why or why not?
The QR Codes made the hunt more fun, because you are not just looking at the paper of the problem, you are scanning it and you have the problem in your hand right away. It would've been better if there was an "before" and "after" word on the paper of the QR code so that we don't need to wait for the teachers answering us when they are busy.

  15. 1) I enjoyed running around the school and we also got to know a lot more about the school and the teachers better. I think it was a good review for the study guide
2)The least favorite part was that when we got it wrong we would get a video saying wrong wrong wrong. :( We had some technical difficulties in our QR code scanner and we had to ask people the instructions
    3) I think we could have decreased the numbers of problems. We thought there was too much problems even though we had to run around a lot. Also it would be better if the hints were easier.
    4) I think the QR code was more fun because it is more easier to find the code and also since we couldn't just see the QR code and notice what it was about it made us nervous and anxious which made us enjoy the scavenger hunt more
