Jin Mo first buys 20 apples. Jin Ho steals some of the apples. Jin Ho steals the same amount of apples each year for 4 years for fun. After this, he steals another 3/4 of the apples Jin Mo has left, leaving 1/4 of the total amount of apples Jin Mo has. Jin Ho throws away the apples he stole for fun. Jin Ho buys 8 apples. However, a thief steals the same amount of apples Jin Ho steals each year for 2 years. Now, JinMoHo have the same amount of apples left. How many apples are stolen each year?
We think that this post makes sense and is very clear. It was easy to understand and we could easily write the equation from the story you gave us. This story is fun but no very original. This story has no grammar mistakes. We liked this story because it was funny, easy to understand and represented the equation very well.
The equation is functional and it makes sense with the equation. But apples are kind of boring...Why would any one want apples when you can buy them at the store for a really cheap price...
The names are so confusingggg!! T_T The names are very similar...So it makes it confusing
The positive point is that it makes sense :DD It makes the solvers think deeply.
We started to get confused when you said ".. 3/4 of the apples Jin Mo has left.." because you didn't tell us that Jin Mo didn't use any of the apples himself. The question itself is a little hard to keep up with, so we had to try several times in order to get the equation above, so that may be something to consider. If you reduce the amount of events and things that happen, we think it will be a lot more swell! Also, we're not sure if this is what you meant, but when you said ".. Jin Ho steals each year for 2 years..", and if you mean the ones he stole before, you have to change the sentence to ".. Jin Ho stole from Jin Mo for the last 2 years" The story is pretty creative, but as we mentioned before, use Vikki and Jin Mo or something NOT HO and MO. Other than that, everything else is pretty good!
